When Harm Changed To Salvation
By Mark Flippo
Genesis Chapter 37:
27-Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.
28-Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
Genesis Chapter 45:
2-And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.
4-................................. I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
5-....................................... for God did send me before you to preserve life.
6-For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
Your family can be hateful, especially when all are grown. They will step on you without even thinking about it. What you need to take away from this lesson is, that no matter what they do, keep the right attitude and you will be victorious!! Because if you show them a True Christian example and not try to hurt them in return, they will never be able to forget. By being silent when God wants you to be you may bring your whole family to salvation!! Think about it! May Jesus's will be done in your life!!
