What A Tongue!

I am sure you have heard the saying "That is a bitter pill to swallow." Our tongue is divided into separate zones for tasting. Did you know that? God has built a very complex organ. I like the sweet zone. I also like crab apples, boy they hit my sour zone. Cashews I can eat by the handful. Bitter really makes me pucker and my eyes twitch. I am sure all of you have had foods that touch every zone. What is your favorite? Try a food or treat and see if you can tell from your tongue which area is feeling it. Now spiritually the Bible says a lot about our tongues. They can kindle a fire of destruction. They can bring healing. It all depends on who is in control of the organ in your mouth. When you speak does the Lord receive Glory or does the unclean eat of your sin? You decide who you are showing forth. Pray about His guidance in control of the powerful weapon you have just beyond the lips.
