The Strength Of A Mother
By Mark Flippo
Elephants have a matriarchal society. Which means they are lead by the oldest female. They move based on water availability.
African elephants can reach a height of 4 m (13 ft) and weigh 7,000 kg (15,000 lb). Elephants' large ear flaps help to control their body temperature. African elephants have larger ears and concave backs while Asian elephants have smaller ears and convex or level backs. Calves are the centre of attention in their family groups and rely on their mothers for as long as three years. Elephants can live up to 70 years in the wild. They communicate by touch, sight, smell and sound; elephants use infrasound, and seismic communication over long distances. Both African and Asian elephants have a pregnancy that approaches two years—22 months, to be exact. Elephants produce one baby at a time, and the youngster weighs around 105 kilograms (230 pounds) at birth.
Ladies be Thankful you are not pregnant for 22 months! Also you have never had a 230 pound baby! When the good Lord said He will not put anything more upon you than you can bare He was serious. He gives us someone to share our Love with in different ways. Some by birth, some by adoption and some by nieces, nephews and friends kids! God knows what you have need of! Just ask and have Faith! Believe for Him to send you Love in an unexpected way!
