Never Again!
By Mark Flippo
Genesis 8-24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
Genesis 9-13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Some trials have to go on long enough so that the enemy has been washed away to never bother us again!
You may feel that you have been forgotten by God but read the next scripture references!
Genesis 8-1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark:
Genesis 9-14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Genesis 9-15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh;
I found it interesting that God says twice in consecutive chapters that He remembered! Why? He is God and can never forget! I asked God to explain this to me because it made no sense! Notice the spelling of the two words, remembered and remember! God remembered Noah when the trial was over! The second is present tense which means right now! A suttle difference. He is reminding us that whether in the trial or afterwards as a monument to what you have been through you is made, you are always on God's mind!!
