Vampire Seeds
By Mark Flippo
A Banyan (also Banian) is a fig that starts its life as an epiphyte (a plant growing on another plant when its seeds germinate in the cracks and crevices on a host tree or on structures like buildings and bridges.
This seed lodges into other things and starts to grow. Inevitably destroying the very thing that gave it a place to live. Now how many are familiar with this situation? I have felt the sting of this one myself. Friends that are no longer friends but you still love them! So many families have had someone walk away from them, even though their heart is breaking! Sometimes that person or persons are gone for a
time and will return to you.
They will not be the same as the one that left but you get a chance to show love to them again. That would be a blessing. Sometimes they are gone forever from your life. The only thing you can do is ask God to help you and carry some of your pain for you. Or He can teach you how to Gracefully carry that burden. He would not have allowed it to happen if it came to destroy you. When
those things happen just think about God! How many have deserted Him over the centuries! How He must yearn for those lost! I wonder how He deals with so much junk! Yes HE is God. But we do not even understand 1% of what He knows! Take time to be very grateful! His kindness and Mercy are with us daily!
