I Had To Drill A Hole In My Fingernail!
By Mark Flippo
I was trying to hit a nail but hit my fingernail instead. Ouch wrong nail! It had swollen up so bad that it was throbbing. I have always had a little hand eye coordination problem, so this is not the first or last time that I have smashed a finger! My dad told me if i drill a hole just through the fingernail is will release the pressure and stop the throbbing. My dad offered to do the drilling but I said no. I was scared. It took a little bit of time to find the courage to do it. Once it was done I was so glad I did it. He was right. Kids don't try this at home. God gives us what we need when we need it! That day I needed courage!
Many times since then I have called upon Jesus for help. Sometimes He sends someone your way. At other times He gives you what you need to complete the task at hand! He will be with you through everything in your life! Just trust Him and watch Him step in and help you out. Sometimes He allows us to go through situations to teach us about consequences. No matter what He will always be there.
