Open The Door To Your Heart And Mind!
By Mark Flippo
Ephphatha. the Greek form of a Syro-Chaldaic or Aramaic word, meaning "Be opened," uttered by Christ when healing the man who was deaf and dumb (Mark 7:34). It is one of the characteristics of Mark that he uses the very Aramaic words which fell from our Lord's lips.
There is a huge need for our spiritual ears to be opened. We say we are listening to God's Voice but are we really? It is easy to miss that Still Small Voice. He is so gentle like a dove, that He will leave quickly if not asked to stay by Praise and Worship. We get so super busy with everything in life that comes at us that our minds are going to fast. Laying down at night is hard sometimes because our body is tired but our minds are on overtime. I am always praying for my understanding to be opened to what God is telling me. Please God block our ears from hearing the unclean things, and help us receive and keep the good! AMEN!
