Quote Of The Day
By Mark Flippo
2 Corinthians 9
6-But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7-Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8-And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
How many of you have been in such a poor place you depended on others for food and paying bills? We have been. After my open heart surgery we had no money coming in from my job and my wife was doing all she could but we just could not makes ends meet! The candle was burning at both ends and in the middle! Mostly our Church family helped us out. Our pastor had compassion on us greatly till we got through some of the worst of it.
We are still barely making ends meet but we do at least do that much. For those of you that have not reached retirement age it may be hard to understand. You have the same bills as before but with less than half the pay coming in. God's finds a way to keep us going. We sure depend on Him even more than before we retired! Always remember to give from your heart because you never know when you will be the one in need!
