They Survived!

Xiao Yu was helping his parents cut sticky tape for fixing Chinese festival scrolls to the door of the family home in Qinglong, Qinghuangdao. But he slipped and, to the horror of his mother and father, landed on a large pair of scissors Both blades narrowly missed his left and eye and entered his face next to his nose, penetrating seven centimetres into his head. Dr Zhao Jizhi and his team cut an opening inside Xiao's mouth to make the blades visible, and then surgically removed the scissors before sewing up the wounds.
Scissors left in woman's stomach for three years. Eight inches long scissor was left inside the woman’s stomach by bungling medics after her surgery of ovaries in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Leroy Leutscher, an 86-year-old man from Arizona, was out in his yard when he dropped his pruning shears. As he reached down to grab them, he slipped and fell, landing face down on the handle. The handle went through his eye socket and down into his neck. Amazingly, he's okay. That x-ray above was taken right after the horrifying accident, and it pretty much speaks for itself. Still, even in such ridiculous circumstances, the surgeons managed to remove the shears from his face, rebuild Leutscher's orbital floor with metal mesh and save his eyeball. Leutscher still has some slight swelling on his face and a little bit of double vision.
Li Fuyan, 30, had been suffering from severe headaches, bad breath and breathing difficulties but never knew the cause of his discomfort. Li told doctors he had been stabbed in the lower right jaw by a robber four years ago and the blade broke off inside his head without anyone realizing it.
