Young Christians
By Mark Flippo
1 Corinthians 3:2
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Hebrews 5
11-Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12-For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13-For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14-But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil
Young Christians, don't be discouraged when you fail, because you will. That is all a part of growing in Jesus! You have to have God's Word opened in your mind slowly for you to absorb it. You should never feed steak to a baby. Young Christians are the same. No disrespect intended. You can be 80 and still be a young person in God. Physical age is unimportant. God will work with anyone who's mind is open to
the Lord! Let Him teach you His ways and you might be surprised at how you mature in Him.
