Compassion For Judas!
By Mark Flippo
Growing up I always felt sorry for Judas. I knew someone had to betray Jesus. What a rotten deal to be setup to betray our Savior before you're born. How would he ever have a chance to go to Heaven? Somewhere in my late twenties, God helped me to understand something more about this part that was required of Judas. He impressed me that yes Judas had to betray Him but he did not have to commit suicide! He could have repented but he did not! He chose death instead of facing life knowing that everyone would remember him as the traitor! He did not give anyone a chance to show him that in their eyes they forgave him! Just remember no matter what you have done, don't kill yourself. A real Christian will forgive you for your failure!!! AMEN!!
