The Disappointment Room!
By Mark Flippo
In the early 1900s, it was a common practice among the wealthy influential families that if they had a child born with any kind of a disability, they would hide them from everyone. They considered them a shame and an embarrassment. That child was never allowed out of the disappointment room they locked them in. How sad that the little ones would live and die in that room all alone. They would keep no records of these children, making it seem they never existed.
HOW SAD! Have you ever tried to hide away from others because you did not feel you were good enough or smart enough? Do you say negative things about yourself? If you say something long enough you will begin to believe it. Stop right now and get out of your disappointment room. Let God change your way of thinking. God made you! Now let Him change your thinking! You are somebody in Him! God loves you, now you love Him. God Bless!
