Help Me See

Acts Chapter 9:
3-And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4-And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5-And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6-And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7-And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8-And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
This man thought he was doing right in the sight of God. It turns out He was displeasing God for unknowingly fighting against God! Sometimes we can be guilty of giving our whole selves to working what we think is for God but being surprised that we were not! We can all make some whopper of misguided mistakes. I have repented many times for doing "the Lords work" finding out it was not! When He opened our lives we were very repentant!
I know others have fallen into the "religious trap"! All we can do is do our best with as much understanding that we can get. When He shows you that you're wrong, repent and change! Some have too much pride to change. It is hard for them to admit that they were wrong. It takes great courage to admit before God and everybody that knows you that you were wrong!! I have great admiration for some ministers that I have been blessed with, that they were of the quality that could humble themselves and change!! God bless them all! Now they can see clearly!!
